We created Mode & Opal because we were tired of the ones that didn’t quite work. Hard to clean, awkward to sip from, or too heavy to carry.
Ours are made for real life. The spout is shaped for a natural sip (so you don’t have to pucker or strain), the lid is dishwasher-safe, and the handle and body is designed to feel balanced even when the bottle’s full.
Every detail is intentional, so you actually enjoy using it.
Only the lid and straw is dishwasher-safe. Place the lid open on the top rack of the dishwasher along with the straw.
Yes, the bottles are completely leakproof when used as intended.
Make sure the lid is properly clicked shut before placing it in your bag. Make sure both seals are in place and avoid overfilling it, especially with warm liquids that build up steam.
Our bottles are designed for cold or hot (not boiling) drinks. They can keep your drinks hot for up to 18 hours.
You can safely add warm liquids, but avoid boiling liquid or carbonated drinks. Pressure build-up could cause leaks, damage or injury.
Our current bottles hold 940ml, enough to keep you hydrated through a busy day, without feeling bulky.
They also fit in most car cup holders.
We currently ship across New Zealand and Australia.

We aim to process all orders within 1–2 business days.
Delivery takes about 2–5 business days within New Zealand and 5–10 business days to Australia.
