Refund policy

For Customers in New Zealand & Australia

We want you to love your Mode & Opal purchase. Every product is carefully checked before it leaves our hands, but if something arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, we’ll make it right.


Eligibility

You may be eligible for a replacement or refund if:

  • The item you received was incorrect,

  • The item arrived damaged, or

  • An item was missing from your order.

Please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order so we can review and resolve the issue promptly.


How to Request a Replacement or Refund

Email our team at hello@modeandopal.co.nz with:

  • Your order number,

  • A short description of the issue, and

  • Clear photos (if applicable).

Once approved, we’ll arrange a replacement, refund, or other suitable remedy as required under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 (NZ) or Australian Consumer Law.


Additional Information

  • All returns must be authorised by the Mode & Opal team before being sent back.

  • Refunds are processed to your original payment method once the return is confirmed.

  • We don’t currently offer returns for change of mind.
